If you’ve landed on this page that probably means you’re a Laker Hater. In the interest of science, choose your favorite NBA team in the poll below and we’ll see which team takes the crown as hating the Lakers the most. If you actually like the Lakers you’re in the wrong place but there’s an option for that too.

LakerHater 101: Celebrity Laker Fans
Everyone knows Hollywood stars frequent Laker games. Some can be seen often (Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ice Cube – NBA.com actually put together a “top 10” list of celeb Laker fans) but many more drop by for occasional appearances. I was planning on crudely doctoring some photos of America’s most hated individuals and putting them in Lakers gear but I don’t have to. Nearly every clown in the greater Los Angeles area has turned up at Staples Center (or the LA Forum before that) to cheer on their team. Here’s a small list of famous Laker “fans” who frequently turn up on lists of the most hated people in America.
Ok, I threw a few in there anyway just for fun (Osama Bin Laker?) but with so many legitimately awful celebrities rooting for them, it’s just one more reason to happily hate the Lakers.
Upgrade your LakerHater gear
A few items are available at the LALakerHater Store if you’re keen to rock the apparel. If you’re looking for other items with the LA Laker Hater logo let me know.
Apparently Zazzle doesn’t appreciate my modifications to the Lakers logo and has taken my items down for fear of copyright infringement. Currently investigating alternate options…
Lakers get blown out in season opener, Kobe and Dwight aren’t friends
In the 4th quarter of last night’s season opener (where a mediocre Rockets team destroyed a terrible Lakers team) a few words – and an elbow – were exchanged between Kobe and Dwight Howard.
There was some mic feedback in the interview room after the game but I like to think the shot from Howard just left some ringing in Kobe’s ears.

A Tribute to the 2013-2014 NBA Season… Never Forget
The 2013/2014 Lakers season said goodbye to Dwight Howard and hello to Nick “Swaggy P” Young. It also said goodbye to the playoffs and hello to utter disappointment.
The Jazz spoiled the fun by finishing dead last in the Western Conference but a 2nd to last finish by the Lakers helped me sleep well at night.
My favorite nicknames from the 2013/2014 season:
3. LAL = LOL
2. Loss Angeles Lakers
1. Los Angeles Tankers
